What are your adoption fees?
Our standard adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $70 for cats. We also require a $50 refundable surgery deposit for the spay/neuter.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Tuesday through Friday 12 PM to 4 PM and Saturday 11 AM to 2 PM. We are closed Sundays, Mondays, and holidays.
What is included in the adoption price?
Our adoption prices cover the spay/neuter, all first year vaccines, flea, and worm medication.
Do I have to get my new pet spayed/neutered?
Yes, it is required by law, along with the rabies vaccine. Animals adopted through us are still property of Decatur County until fixed and can be taken back at anytime while still property of the county.
